We Believe:
We believe the Bible is the complete and inerrant word of God. The only thing necessary for salvation is God’s grace, faith in his Son, Jesus Christ, and repentance from sins.
We are Christians who believe in a triune God, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22
God - God is the eternal Creator, the source of all life and love. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present, guiding humanity with wisdom and grace. As the Father, He desires a relationship with His creation, offering love, mercy, and salvation.
Jesus - Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent to redeem the world. Through His life, teachings, death, and resurrection, He offers salvation to all who believe in Him. He is the perfect example of love, sacrifice, and grace, bridging the gap between humanity and God. Jesus is the only way to the Father in heaven.
The Holy Ghost - The Holy Ghost, also known as the Holy Spirit, is God's presence within believers. He provides guidance, comfort, and strength, helping individuals grow in faith and understanding. The Holy Ghost empowers Christians to live according to God's will and experience His peace.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ
The gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news of salvation, grace, and eternal life through Him. It teaches that:
God created humanity for His glory—we are meant to reflect His love and righteousness.
Sin separates us from God—all have sinned and fallen short of His glory.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was sent to redeem us—through His death and resurrection, He paid the price for sin.
Salvation is a free gift—those who believe in Jesus, repent, and accept Him as Lord receives eternal life.
Faith in Christ transforms lives—believers are empowered by the Holy Spirit to live according to God’s will.
Who We Are
This fellowship of Christian believers started in 1983. A Bible Study teacher and a few men decided to move in faith and start a Bible believing fellowship they named Berean Ministries.
The name comes from Acts 17:11 “…they [people of Berea] received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
It was our desire to be led by faith in God’s word and not be led astray by the feelings in man’s word. Since the Garden of Eden, the Devil has attacked the word of God, and it continues today. A good counterattack would be as Paul writes in 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Our Mission:
Preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to those outside the church that they may hear the word, have faith in Christ, call upon him as Lord, repent from sins, and be saved.
Edify the saints within the church through prayer, study, fellowship, and worship. Encourage the brethren to continue to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Exhort one another, and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.
Our Vision:
Preserve the authenticity of the house of God; an assembly of saints established by the grace of God, the gospel of Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit to preach the Word, pray the will of God be done, love one another, and live a life that brings glory to the Father.
